Fan Trouble

About a month ago i bought a 97 prelude 5 speed and i love it but sometimes when i sit at a drive-thru for a while my temp. gauge will go way up about 4 or 5 marks away from the hot mark. The thing is i have never heard the fan kick on so i was just wondering if its a bad relay???

Thanks.

Maybe, but check the fuse first, then relay. tell you the truth look down at the fan and make sure its plugged in and check the wire connection as it might be a loose or broken wire. Plus too check your firewall as most times people try to stuff those huge wires for amps and etc. in along with the factory wiring using screwdrivers and shorting out wiring, seen it before.

Also while you are doing this won't hurt to change out your thremostat. If you live in a hotter climate area try going with one that opens at lower temperature.
