Installing jdm h22 engine in 98 base prelude

I am in Canada and have a 98 Base Prelude where i will be installing a h22 jdm engine. I have been told I have to remove the oil pump housing and crank sensor from the old engine and put it on the jdm engine. Is this true? Is there a link anywhere so I can see how to do this?

it depends on what it comes with.. when we swapped one into my buddies lude it came with both of those. The oil pump is easy.. unbolt your oil pan and just remove it.. its bolted in.. the crank sensor is usually pretty easy too. I'm not sure if you have to set the air gap or if its pre-gapped on this engine but if its pre-gapped thats great easy bolt up.. setting an air gap you need specs and a feeler gauge
