Prelude Ignition Problems Help

i put the key in the ignition and it wont turn i tried turning the steering wheel and everything but it just wont turn can anyone tell me how to fix this i have work tomarrow and i cant miss

Hmmm... The ignition switch was recalled in some of the 5th gens. I am not sure what year, pretty sure it would be easy to find info on if you searched a bit on google or something.

funny that u mention that....my bro has a 98 civic dx and he had to go thru plugs, wires, alternator, distrubutor, and a main relay before he found out the problem was the ignition switch...for it had been recalled in '02

well my car is 98 LUDE like the key wont turn at all it has nothing to do with battery or nothing i put he key in and it wont budge so how much is this part i need and where cani buy it and how hard is it to install

you need to make sure its not on the recall list, b-c if you fix the part yourself it would be a waste of money if its on the recall list. Call your local honda dealership have them run your vin and they will tell you if it was affected by the recall. I would do that first..

my lude does this i just pull the key out just a little bit and it works for me but my wife cant do it at all
