it was a pain putting in my strut bar, because of all of that wire bracket got in the way. So i took the screw out of it and it came loose and I manage to maneuver the strut in it so I didn't have to mess with the wires that much.

still was a pain

well someone in a local car club crazy about prelude removed all wire brakets in the lude that the wires could safely jus hang with no problems he removed 117lbs worth of brakets...so thats quite a good weight reduction so im thinkin of doing that to my lude at the same time as the strut bar

I would love to see a camera under his hood capture them swinging all over the place during an auto-x or something. 117lbs for real?

What wires are causing trouble? I've fitted a few 5gs with strut braces and never had any trouble.

Neuspeed Strut Brace

I installed the Neuspeed strut brace, and the way that it is shaped it fits right around the wires without having to remove the brackets. Four nuts on the top of the struts and it is in.

I was having problems too. On the right strut tower there was a bracket holding wires up but I easily removed the bracket and just zip tied the wires down under the strut bar. I could have zip tied it to my strut bar but I thought that would look gay. I also thought the ABS lines would get in the way but the bar just went right over it.

Hell, if you had enough spirit and weren't lazy you could redrill the hole and rebolt the bracket a little lower. But I was lazy.
