are you asking if you can run your oem shocks with those springs?

I would not... they should blow rather quickly and be less safe than a stock setup regardless. Some people claim they have been running lowered stock shocks for xx000 miles, but it seems like a real sketchy idea to me.

I would say at a reasonable price, koni yellows are the way to go... if you want to spend less, look at some kyb agxes or tokico blues (hps)

I have Neuspeed Sports on my stock struts. Although I would rather have aftermarket struts, the stock ones have been doing fine for the past year or so. Honestly, these springs don't give a very extreme drop, so I really don't think it's a big deal to be on stock struts with these.

Now if you really want to be happy, ditch everything and save up for full coilovers. That's what I'm doing.

Go ahead and try it... I just figure the stock struts aren't designed to be sitting 1.5" below stock, but if it's worked for others, give it a shot.

I'm in the process of getting polyurethane bushings installed because the handling characteristics of my car are a pretty high priority in my book. More important than speed at this point.

I hate to tell you not to get the neuspeeds though... cheapest I have found them:

NEUSPEED SPRINGS: PRELUDE 92-96/97-01 NON-SH (SPORT) - 55.20.16 - DIRECT TUNING

$155.

question: would you rather do twice the amount of work (or PAY for twice the amount of work if your paying someone to do this) when your stock shocks blow out cuz they can't handle the added stress.

orrrrr.......

would you rather do it ONCE, and do it RIGHT???

I did it once, right, kinda... shop didn't think I needed to replace the bushings but now I have some handling issues... so it's back to the shop to have the suspension torn off again :(

At modacar they springs are $155, but shipping to me would be $35 = $190...
direct tuning... $180 w/ free shipping... I win!... just picking... depending on the zip modacar might be cheaper.
