How was Ayrton Senna involved in the design of the 4th Gen Prelude?

I heard that legendary 3-time F1 World Champion Ayrton Senna was involved in the design of this iteration of the car, and I would like to know in what way. I do know that he tuned the suspension of the NSX, but do not know how he contributed to the 4th gen prelude other than appearing in a few commercials for the japanese market.

Yes strong bump, and strong first post by OP, but I was searching randomly and found this thread with no replies. I too wonder what Senna did with our 4th gens.

I doubt he had any part of the development of this car. I promise if he did, the car would of never been FWD... Correct me if Im wrong tho.

Fookin' awesome find bro.
Will google it til my battery dies. And then some more.

Edit:
It seems as though he was only promoting the prelude and so I haven't found where he actually involved in the design.
NSX input seems to be that he indicated a stiffer chassis would be a good thing and drove some prototypes which eventually got his 'just right' wink of approval.

Apparently he liked the crx for his personal car.

Have you guys seen "Senna?" It's a pretty well done documentary about him, it's available on Netflix. I've watched it a few times now haha

And I have to agree with the person that said if Senna had input on this car, it would have NOT been FWD haha.

Yeah it's pretty good. I know for sure that he had a hand in designing the NSX, but my guess would just be that he gave the Prelude his seal of approval, didn't really have a hand in it.
