Throttle Position Sensor Question

Just got the h22 running again and i am throwing only one code. #7 Throttle Position Sensor. What can i do with it? Not sure if i can fix it or replace it, not really sure. Any help? Also when i checked for codes my ABS light blinked once, tried to look up the abs codes but no luck.

all 4 cylinder honda TPS sensors are the same just see if anyone is selling a TB and see if you can snag that. I had like 5 but sold them all for like $10 a piece.

haha yeah, everything is plugged in and hooked up. triple checked. may have to put in on a computer. With it throwing no codes that was the first thing i thought, if i forgot to plug the damn solenoid in...This has stumped me. Really im not mad that it isnt hitting vtec because im just happy that i got it running again, but it cant be good.

hows ur oil. If it's low or old it will not kick in b/c it uses the oil pressure to know when to kick in.

youre right with the computer if youre running a P14. the H23 computer will run an H22 but it wont have VTEC. If youre running a P13 then definitely check out oil pressure, that the solenoid operates, that theres power running to the solenoid, etc.

I got mine back from the shop and my Speedometer, Odometer, Cruise Control and V-Tec don't work. The fluid levels are fine, but i need to check my VSS, which could be the issue, idk if that has anything to do with V-Tec or anything like that, but I'm hitting the same prediciment you are with no v-tec... if you figure out whats wrong, let me know, if i can figure out whats going on, ill let ya know as well

almost guaranteed your VSS is busted, since those are all related to speed.

but i dont think its the OP's problem.

came back 14.8. Resistance is supposed to be between 14-30 so i guess thats okay. Pulled of the solenoid and it was dirty. So im heading down to get oil and a new oil filter. Keep ya posted. Still open to suggestions.

what ecu are you running? Who wired it up? Also check and make sure you have the wires ran right to the ecu.

not sure, never checked, I will first thing in the morning, im guessing a p13. Wiring is all messed from previous owner rigging it up for a DVD player head unit to play while he was still driving. I dunno I took it out and put a regular pioneer in it :). Well I changed the Oil and the Oil Filter and it hit vtec. Don't ask me I dont know, I took off the vtec solenoid and it was clogged and i did what the manual said, just change the oil and filter and ta-da. All is working, ABS light is still on so thats on my next to-do list.
