Need Help With SWAP

Hi Im new to the lude but not to hondas i have two accords and also a supra i just purchased a 93 prelude automatic with h23 wich is blown up i have a f22b1 out of a 94 accord and a 5 speed out of a 92 im wondering what all info i can get to help me along the way any feedback would be helpful:

luckily, all the H and F trannie's are interchangable, so your good there.
the b1 is the SOHC Vtec correct? so i think your car is pre-wired for vtec, but if its not, you just hafta run two wires for vtec.
as for the ECU, i'm not too sure. if you can find the F22b1 ecu, great. if not, i think any SOHC Vtec ECU from a civic or teggy should work. fortunately everything you have is all OBD1, so you don't gotta deal w/ that mess.

other than that... that baby should drop directly in.










but you also gotta convert the car to 5 speed, so you need all the parts for that too

thanks for the great info i do have the 5 speed f22b1 ecu and getting the 5 speed conversion parts such as shifter and cables and clutch pedal and slave is not a problem and yes the f22b1 is sohc vtec and if not wired for vattack im aware of the hard wiring trick to the ecu any other info would be greatful but thanks a hol lot

use the F22 engine harness.

i did a very similar swap: H23a1 to F22a1 both 5 speeds, but switching from OBD1-2, so lemme know if you got any other ?'s

only harness i have is frm the h23 wich is still in the car ive been told that it should work is this bad info or possible

yea it'll work. but since the F22 doesn't have a knock sensor or IAB's (i'm pretty sure) you just won't connect those connectors to anything. there might be a couple other tiny things, but you can use the H23 harness/

if unhooked plugs were used what would be side effects other than check engine light plus my f22 is missing the fuel rail but i have checked and h23s injectors line up perfect but the rail mounts different wich really isnt a big deal

you might not throw a CEL since your F22b1 ECU isn't looking for a knock sensor or IAB's.

the injectors are still on the harness of the h23 when i connect them to the rail it fits but doesnt mount to the intake manfold wich pretty much just holds it in place
