Big Discovery

I Feel Really Retarded After I Found This Out. Yesterday I Was Going To Run A Wire To My Fuse Box For An Acc Wire , When I Noticed I Was Missing The Acc Fuse Along With The Ecu Fuse. I Dont Know How The Hell I Missed That. There Were No Fuses At All In Those Spots So I Think I Always Thought They Were Not Used. My Radio Now Works Right, But I Was Wondering If Anyone Knows What That Ecu Fuse Next To The Acc Fuse Is For Or More What It Controls, Since The Car Still Started And Drove. Could That Be The Reason Why The Redline And Vtec Is Not Right? And Feel Free To Bash Me For This Stupid *ss Mistake I Already Have.

the ECU fuse? emmm, isn't that the memory and primary power (constant) to your ECU? Does your radio keep time now that you fixed that one?

the vtec and redline still isnt fixed. i put a new fuse in today and tried it, but i want to pull the ecu fuse under the hood to reset and try it. i also got a code for the vtec pressure switch though, so i have to check that out if i can find it.

as for the stereo it turns on and off with the car now and keeps its memory. also found out i have a faulty door switch and that is why my windows still rolled up and down with the door open and car off. only bad news is, after i put in the new guages, i found out the light for one of the blinkers is out and maybe the highbeams.

was that the fuse under the hood or the dash? cuz i have had nothin but badluck with this car, mostly b/c of the past owner. that is why i am trying to check all the wires and fix all the problems now while its off the road. i'm hoping i can turn my luck around, and so far i am doing good.

mine was under the dash, the fuse that read ECU, and the fuse for the radio was loose.. i had to take that whole fuse panel out and apart and then take some pliars and tighten the connector for it.
