Group buy Rota Grid

Hey talked to Rota a couple days ago trying to get rims in our size/bolt pattern.
I was told they would like to have 40 rims ordered if they were going to make a custom wheel. I was wondering if anyone on this forum would like to go in with me. I haven't decided on the exact size yet.
Its between 17x7 4x114.3 42offset or 16x7 42. Id prefer 16's, but Iv been told 16" performance tires are going extinct. I wouldn't mind 17s if it means easily finding a tire a couple years from now.

What do you guys think? If your interested post your preferred size or PM me and ill try to coordinate something here. Also she mentioned it could be 2-3 months before we get them fyi.

Rotas are cheap enough to not need a group buy LOL

Re: Group buy Rota Grid

if you have any other suggestions on where to get a high end rim for this car I'm seriously all ears. Rotas the only company that didn't give me a flat out no. Originally wanted some gram lights but that was a no go. Enkei has 2 rims that fit and look ok but not exactly the look I was going for. Ya I know Rotas are bit on the cheaper side but hey if they'll make me something that looks sick and is better than stock great. ill pick up an extra full size spare or 2.

Re: Group buy Rota Grid

Maybe I'm like other owners, but I already found the style I like. For me it's not a new set but whether to get a couple extra of what I have in case of damage. I'm getting used to things related to my car that go out of production, wheels not being an exception. For what it's worth - take a look at Focal, they are not too well known but have lasted me a while, look great in black, and are relatively lightweight. I have the 421 style in stock size.
