Hello all

Hello everybody I havenít been here a while now but back on the prelude grind
My car came with a f22a6 been searching and searching what would be the easiest swap but my concern is I canít find post from these single cams I tried rebuilding my old engine but the cost is up there I found a f22b Dohc Jdm what are the rates of these engines not getting a check engine light and can I use my stock intake and monifold Iím getting back into swapping my last swap was a zc any help would be good

you have to rebuild the swap engine also so the cost is always more than just the price of the engine

so what would u do? just rebuild the f22a6 or just do the swap and wait to change the belt and water pump down the line

Swap engine needs all the seals, gaskets, water pump/timing stuff, new clutch etc also like probably your current engine so just do the math - specially if youre not able to do the work by yourself

Rebuild your current engine sounds more easy than if youre trying to put accord engine there - then theres electrical stuff also to do

Theres no cheap solution

well ive searched and i think im leaning towards a h22a i can pick one up for 800 and they said they can get me a ecu for 75$ thank u so much and i can do some work like changing clutch and all

So I’ve been gone for a while but just been working on the prelude getting it back to where I want it but I’m going to the rebuilding the f22 with some bisimoto stuff
