Newer to preludes need some help

OK guys so here is my situation. I have a 96 prelude that has the h23 with an automatic trans. I race this car on a dirt track. My problem is I blew the h23 last season. I bought a h22a4 for it and my issue is I don't know how to get it to work together. I have a chipped p28 ecu for the h22a4. IDK if I can use a harness and ecu from a 5th gen with an automatic or if the trans plugs are different from 4th to 5th gen. Or if I just try to find an full 5 speed swap for the car?

autos are not for racing - do manual swap and what are the rules what you can do to your engine?

you should have bought Type S or R engine there - they have more kick in them than others and they also come with LSD transmission
