1994 Prelude Advice/Options

I have a 1994 Prelude that I've dumped a lot of money into. It currently has some issues (motor and some body) and I just don't really think I want to put any more money into it. I've tried listing it on Craigslist, but everyone on Craigslist wants everything for $5. I don't expect to get all the money I put into it, but I refuse to sell it dirt cheap with everything that's on it. Anyone have experience in parting out a car who might want to comment on their experience? I'm not sure if I want to go through the work of doing that either - but I'm not sure what else to do with it. Other ideas welcome!

Re: 1994 Prelude Advice/Options

Granted the Prelude is a pain to work on, and a bigger pain to get in and out of, but it is getting pretty rare. That car is eligible for historical plates next year. Unless it is really messed up I'd fix it and keep it. That's what I did with my 93 Si with JDM H23A engine. I enjoy driving it now and then and it will be a great car for one of my grandsons some day.

BTW, the historical plate is very cheap ($18), and never has to be renewed, and then the insurance drops to near nothing ( $56/year for me in Ohio)
