Oil pressure and voltage gauges, is it possible

Hey all im picking up my first prelude on Friday (24th November) and ive got all these wild ideas that are probably not possible :) im a bit of a dreamer :) im just wondering if a volt gauge and oil pressure gauge is out there that would fit inside the standard instrument cluster or do i have to go gauge pods but also in doing that do i have to add sensors to the engine

Re: Oil pressure and voltage gauges, is it possible

adding gauges you dont need is not anything new or different its just pointless tuning-show-off-culture which is imo pretty stupid

anyway I bet you could get volt gauge from your local autopart store and its pretty easy to install and if you add wideband theres another one but do you really need em...

Re: Oil pressure and voltage gauges, is it possible

It’s very possible, I have 2 Gauges from GlowShift which are Oil Pressure and Coolant Temp, I have an issue with my stock temp gauge where it would read overheating when it really wasn’t, so a numerical gauge was very helpful and now I know at what temp the motor should be at while it’s at idle, highway speeds, etc. I’ve seen Glow carry a voltage gauge, you can check out they’re website. I wouldn’t call gauges useless, maybe non working ones, but I would say oil pressure is a very good one to have.

You could apply the same rationale to the whole car...if all you're doing is getting from point A to point B, why have a Prelude? Buy a used Renault Twingo and it'll get you there just as well.
