Icon1 Obd2 H22a4 swap into 94 prelude S

Before I get started I did search but I couldn't seem to find this exact scenario.

I have a 94 Prelude S that's bone stock (aside from it being an F22a6 from an accord), and a 98 Prelude Base model with minor bolt ons.

I've only got one T2T4 transmission between the 2 of em. (I'll not bore you with the details there.)

Currently the 94 is running and the 98 is obviously without a transmission.

I'd like to rebuild the h22 and get it into the 94.

Since I still have the 98 and it was my daily ( in other words I've still got everything to make it run)

What do I need to keep from the 98? And what do I need to buy to make this swap happen?

Most of my searches yielded topics about si's and sh's but neither of those are in the cards, neither is an h22a(JDM) nor another engine entirely (H23).

I don't have unlimited money either but the f22 is leaking oil like crazy and rather than rebuild it I'd like to rebuild and swap the h22 I've already got sitting here.

Any help including a link to this exact scenario would be great, but I'll be honest I still consider my knowledge cup only about 1/4th full so to be blunt, please spell it out for me. I've never done an engine swap only the transmission, and the deepest I've gone into an engine was valve seals. (Though I'm about to go much deeper)

Thanks

Re: Obd2 H22a4 swap into 94 prelude S

So from continuous searching for the past few days my understanding is that I'll basically take the guts out of the obd1 distributor (from 94 lude), and put those guts inside the housing from the obd2 distributor (98 lude).

I'll have to buy a p13 ECU from an JDM H22a engine.

I'll also keep the wiring harness in the 94 (f22 harness) and splice in a few sensors. Though now that I'm typing this I can't remember which sensors I need...

Does this seem accurate? I'll update this once I find that page that told me what sensors I need to splice in.
