Icon9 H23a1 help! Can't figure out the issue.

Hey everyone, ive been lurking around for about a week without being able to find a solution. I did a head gasket replacement on my 93 Lude with a h23a1 on it. Everything was fine before hand. Once i built it back up... thats when the problems began. First it sputtered and bog down and refused to start. I proceeded with checking grounds, current, fuel and the timing. Since i was not getting a spark to go trough I replaced the Ignition Coil along with the plugs and wires. It helped.. some what. Then I switched out the fuel filter since it is inexpensive and it also helped. The car began to start but it idles roughly. I checked every vacum line, sensor and ground twice.. everytjing was in order. Then I put the car in top dead center and rechecked that the timing had not moved. Again, it is spot on. I checked the exhaust since it sounds like it had a leak where the exhaust manifold connects to the downpipe and retightened it... it did not help. My car is bone stock and im out of ideas on what itcould be...

Hrres a video showijng what it sounds like. By the way I have to push the gas pedal for it to even start.

Thanks in advance,

David

I disconnected the MAP and the car starts up instantly buy obviously misfires amd idles really rough. If i reconnect it, the car simply will not start. I'll search for one to replace it. Do accords from similar years have the same MAP? Since they seem to share a lot of parts...?

Sure that the timing belt is not off a tooth or 2 when you put it back on? Did you line up the oil pump and balance shaft gears to the correct timing marks when you put the belts back on?

Hey I don't know if you fixed this yet, check your IACV, and TPS as well just in case.. id also say look for the vaccum diagram online for h23a1 its white/black and I used it on my car as I had the same issue last year. the vaccum lines are a literal pain in the rear end to get correct. so just double/triple check them with that diagram. I have modified my car slightly so I can try to help out a little.
THanks,
