If the transmission shifts good until it warms up its possible thr transmission itself is the problem. How is the fluid level? Is the fluid dirty? Does it smell burnt? You can drain the fluid and put in new Honda ATF and see if that helps.

Do you have any leaks? if its engaging when it's cold and not when warm it sounds like a mechanical problem inside the transmission and it might need to be replaced.

It sounds like you're losing fluid pressure as the transmission warms up. Can't speculate as to why, if that's the case. Any sign of leaks? Have you checked the ATF strainer for metal bits (a sign of a transmission oil pump going bad)? Have a mechanic do a pressure test?
