vtech stops engaging

Im having an issue with my vtech. After about 30+ minutes of driving my vtech wont kick in. Instead it starts sputtering at the 5500 rpm range where it would normally kick in. Any insight on possible causes? Now i dont have my fuel and temp gauge because it did the typical works for a little while then fried. 2 capacitors and two resistors which is my next project but it happens even if i just fueled up. I always put premium in so i dont know

vtech is a Korean electronics company. maybe switch over to LG or Panasonic they are better.

Re: vtech stops engaging

im just messing with you. its VTEC not Vtech. check your oil see if your oil is low. VTEC wont engage if the oil is low. it could also be the VTEC solenoid. my VTEC wasn't engaging one time because of a bad distributor so it can be all different things.
