Front Passenger wheel smacking over bumps?

so whenever i drive and i hit a bump or anything, i can hear something compress all the way and smack and i cant tell what it is, all i know is it's in my front right wheel and i don't think it's my struts cause i bounced my whole weight on my car and it shoots right back up into place and its pretty resistant.

When i bought my car, it was already lowered and it was more of a professional job, i have around 6 inches of ground clearance

Re: Front Passenger wheel smacking over bumps?

It's the spring, not the shock, that resists initial movement. Get a good look at the spring and see if it's broken or cracked somewhere. You may have to pull the assembly off the car.

The sound may come from your sway bar bushings. Have it checked.
