Overheating Issue?!?!

So I have a 1992 prelude, with a F22B1. And the gauge reads that its overheating. I took it to a mechanic, they said it was the head gasket, but the engine shows no signs that it is the head gasket. There is no water in the oil, the engine does not lose power, the engine does not rattle or anything, there is still plenty of coolant in the radiator, and from reading everything here, I have changed the themostat, coolant temperature switch, Temperature Switch, Radiator cap test, had compression test done to check the valves and it passed. And it still says it over heats. I know its know its not the gauge because my gas gauge still works. What else am I missing?

Same thing happens to mine, mine will stay near H when the fans turn off and when they come on again the temp still reads hot, seems to be a grounding issue with mine and it sounds like yours can be also.

The water pump is fine. It overheats only when it wants to. It is not a consistent overheating. It only goes off if the lights are on, and rarely some other times.

Def sounds like a ground problem, mine does the exact same thing, when the temp was near H the top hose read at 190-200 degrees and bottom around 170 degrees.
