Crankshaft replacement question

So I'm gonna be getting my car up and running asap but really only needs a crank replacement .. Might just buy a new crank might just get the full bottom end from a trusted mechanic. Either way if I remove the crank everyone tells me you HAVE to get the block resurfaced, honed, blah blah blah. However the motor I recently replaced had some small work done to it by me for the learning experience.
When the motor was tested, the outer cylinders were reading a compression of about 200, and the inner were only reading about 165 (forgive me idk the cylinder #'s off top of my head). I thought the center Pistons needed new rings.. Did a look up and replaced piston rings. Pulled out Pistons through top not bottom.. Luckily didn't mix up the crank bearings 😅 yet I didn't replace bearings with new ones..
Dropped the motor in and ran fine.. No spun bearings nothing...... Yet.
Anyways.. Main question if I'm just doing a crank swap (non performance upgrade) do I really have to do anything to the block?

Re: Crankshaft replacement question

Run some break in oil like ZEP at first to give the walls a nice coat of zinc.

At least consider a hone. But ask the guy you may be buying the bottom from.

Pretty much got flamed for driving like a jackass and was told to slow down. And I'll be damned, slowing down fixed it.
