SPUTTERING ISSUE FIGURED OUT!!!

So yesterday I decided to take a look into timing with a buddy that knows Honda pretty well. It turns out that my tensioner on the timing belt is shot as well as the belt. The reason my car was bogging in low rpm's is because the tensioner was not activating and allowing the belt to jump teeth. When I applied more load(rpm's) the tensioner would tighten and stop the jumping. I ordered new tensioners and belts. I ordered an ac delete serpentine because my ac compressor is messed up anyways. So I think this was my problem all along. I recommend checking these if your having the same issues.

I'm glad I caught that before it did some real damage. it's gonna be a long process.

Take your time.

I'm a huge fan of Honda...but WHYTHEHELL they chose to stick with timing belts (instead of chains) is a question for the ages.

I agree!!! And getting the crank bolt off!!! 130 pounds of torque specs plus years of engine operation and heat and cool. Makes it very very difficult to get off!!!
