new to the forum :) , 96 si , 340k miles lol

hello to all , i bought a 96 prelude si today , it seems to be in great shape , it has almost 350k miles and runs great , it idles a little high , or maybe its normal for hondas lol , but usually 1000-1200 rpms , is this normal? , also the seat doesnt move forward, anyone have any ideas on that? ill post pics asap

Car of the year there...

Idles high...because it still can after all those miles.

Check your seat rails for object blocking the slots or bent slots, and check the lever you twist to disengage the seat from the stop on the slot.

I'll be back later with a serious answer on the idle thing, I just gotta let it bounce around my brain for a while. Could be the idle system runs high because your rings are wearing/worn and it thinks it needs to in order to rid the cylinders of unspent fuel due to lower than ideal compression.
