Icon5 Won't start, not getting Fuel

I have a 95 prelude si with a H23a (not H23a1) non vtec, MT, I recently blew an oil pump seal, had it fixed, now I cannot start the car. Does start with starting fluid but won't stay running, yes I hear the fuel pump run for a few seconds,
When the car does start and die I hear a very hollow sounding air leak that seems to come from the drivers side firewall, but can't find it... Can someone please help me? I'm just a girl who has to fix my own stuff....

If the fuel pump works then it has to be something else so when you turn the key its just cranking and won't start or you turn the key to accessory and you only hear the fuel pump?

Re: Won't start, not getting Fuel

Turn the key on and off a couple of times to build up fuel pressure, before starting it. Does that help? Crack the fuel line banjo bolt on the fuel rail. Is there pressure there? Check every single vacuum line. Are they all hooked up? Any dangling, not plugged in? If you can get the car started with starting fluid, if you give it some throttle will it keep running? Or will it only stall if left to idle? There are 3 or so sensors around the intake manifold and throttle body. Throttle control valve, idle air control valve, and more. Are they all plugged in.

Have a look here at page 1099. You may want to do some studying:
4th gen 92-96 Service Manual

If you hear the fuel pump, that does not mean it is working properly. It means it is trying to pump fuel and build pressure, it does not mean it is actually able to create the amount of fuel pressure needed to run.
Putting a fuel pressure gage on the fuel rail will confirm fuel pressure. There is a fuel pressure regulator nearby the same spot the gauge hooks up. Could be that, but odds are it would be the pump first.

^^ this!!

You say you had it fixed. Does that mean you drove it home from said shop, then later it wouldn't start?
