95 h23a1 prelude SE motor upgrades before install?

Hi, I'm swapping a jdm h23a1 with 50k miles into a 95 prelude se with a blown h23a1, just want to know If is it worth replacing the stock main rod bearings and thrust bearing washers? or should I leave that alone, the motor comes with a 6 month warranty, so I may install them later, but I have no clue if it's worth changing.

If it aint broke, don't fix it.

Take off valve cover and timing cover. If motor is fairly clean and gears are in time then don't do it.

But, you should get new belts, hoses, gaskets, water pump and all that jazz to ensure trouble free and leak free miles of smiles when done.

Also evaluate your motor mounts. Much easier to change with no engine in the way.

Pretty much got flamed for driving like a jackass and was told to slow down. And I'll be damned, slowing down fixed it.
