1996 h23 automatic

Buying a 96 h23 automatic today. I hear these Honda automatics are junk? I don't plan on making it fast or hot roding it. It's just gonna be my daily driver. What I'm getting at is should I plan on this tranny taking a **** on me soon or what kinda issues am I looking at?

It's the 5th gen ones that were so bad.

You can hopefully enjoy several years of reliable transportation.

I agree with bykfixer. The 96 wasn't too bad although it has only been in the last 5 to 10 years that Honda has learned how to make a decent automatic transmission.
