Re: locked keys!!!

Might be best to call a locksmith, AAA, roadside assist etc. They spend all day breaking into cars (legally) and know pretty much all the tricks.

I've seen it done once where they jammed a wedge in the very top of the door frame (where the window meets the body) and slide a rod or coat hanger in through the opening to try and flick the lock open from the inside. This could very well smash the window if not done correctly, but I guess you'd get into the car in any case.

In 4G's the lock bars slide horizontally too, there is no vertical component, so you can't really slide something down the window and lift.

Best of luck with it though. My tip, get a spare cut for next time. Before I got a car with keyless entry I would lock myself out of the car almost weekly, it got so frustrating I hid a spare key in a magnetic box on the car itself.

Re: locked keys!!!

get a few friends with 90's Hondas and try using their keys and see if any of them work. trust me this is how we break into cars all the time.

Re: locked keys!!!

would maybe a worn camry key work? from my understanding a slim jim will not work because of the way the lock is. this car is just a temp while im waiting to go to bootcamp for the army. maybe jam a screwdriver in the trunk lock? hopefully i can get into my car today with the camry keys

Re: locked keys!!!

Heck, that is a tough one!
I installed a remote system and have a spare key...

My solution, a wedge at the side of the door and a coat hanger. Hook that lock from the side and pull it backwards since you cannot flip it from the top.

You can do it!

Re: locked keys!!!

If you have a buddy with a honda you can take the key and wiggle it in the passenger door lock. It will open. Also a hanger to the trunk handle, then use the pass through to get to the door lock works. Use a broom handle or something like that.
