Re: H22 Euro R Intake Manifold Gasket

Enuff fire as in what??

Spark? Does your engine bog?
Or are you referring fire to power??
Or something else...

If you mean power, there's probably an issue with fuel supply
If you mean spark, there's probably an issue with ignition system.

Re: H22 Euro R Intake Manifold Gasket

What its doing is its lagging before vtec like hesitant then when vtec is engaged its like it sputters here and there in vtec and you can tell its not preforming like it should,......by the way thank you very much for replying to my questions,.....also my tach is surging,....it has the original h23 coil pack and dizzy,.....

Re: H22 Euro R Intake Manifold Gasket

So you get a power loss? Or a bog. I would say try replacing your fuel filter, fpr, seafoam, Change spark plugs/wires, cap and rotor could use it too, and the ignition coil if you want. Air filter, pretty much a tune up is all you need...

Re: H22 Euro R Intake Manifold Gasket

Do you have a tunable ECU and did you get it tuned after installing the new intake manifold?

Re: H22 Euro R Intake Manifold Gasket

youre trying to run a modified engine with a stock ecu. that alone can be your problem. did the euro r manifold come with a map sensor? some times people sell the manifolds with map sensor already on it and it might not be the right one for you.

Re: H22 Euro R Intake Manifold Gasket

I have no idea honestly about the map sensor and it was all doing pretty dang good then went to crap im running the p13 ecu and it aint tuned,...I know I need to get it chipped dynod and tuned and etc but the issue im having now has to do with something like fire fuel or whatever,.....im willing to buy what ever I need to ,.....I checked and redone my grounds seemed to help a little I have also replaced my plugs as well the mechanic that looked at the plugs said he could tell by looking at them I needed a lot more fire so im going to replace wires coil and everything I need to but the problem is I have no idea what to go with honestly there are just so many things out there to choose from its my daily driver I aint trying to make it into a drag car but I like my power as well,....I just could really use some advice on what products I need to purchase that's not insaine price wise but would do the job,....rite now I just wanna get it running like it was then I plan on taking care of all my ecu dyno tunning issues,....if that makes any sense,...by the way thanks a lot to everyone who has shared their advice

Re: H22 Euro R Intake Manifold Gasket

by the way I baught the complete euro r motor but the sob who sold it to me out of Canada sold me a bad motor I got like 300 miles out of it before it slung a bearing so that's when I rebuilt it ,....so everything on its euro r,...although I am using all obd1 sensors because the obd2 wiring harness was ruined in shipping,....I do have the obd2 to obd1 ecu harness and the euro r ecu but can use it because I don't have my obd2 sensors no more plus I would need a wiring harness from a obd2 lude,.....but the car was like a demon once I got it all done I mean you could tell it needed to be tuned and etc,....but its something simple like fire or fuel,....I just aint put my fingers on it yet ,.....
