How do I remove my silencer?

My silencer is like stuck inside my muffler. I took off the bolt that held it, but now it still doesn't budge. How did you guys remove yours?

Re: How do I remove my silencer?

Use something like a coat hanger to get on the backside of it.

Re: How do I remove my silencer?

Plastique explosives will open that right up, weld the muffler back together.

If you take out the silencer there is a 80/20% chance it's gonna sound awful and raspy.

Agree with Slide hammer. If that don't do it! Nothing will.

Re: How do I remove my silencer?

Easy...grab a pair of vice grips, preferably a large one for better grip. Clap that sucker on and pull like hell.

I have done this a million times on stuck silencers. Just need something to grab that small lip with something that will clap on hard (pliers if you have good grip strength).

If the silencer is perfectly smooth and doesn't have anything you can clap on it.....get creative...maybe get an anchoring bolt, slid it into the pipe, spread it so it catches friction and pull that sucker out.
