Icon5 Cold air intake

While changing my oil, I noticed my intake hose was cracked, actually split in two.
Anyways, while it needs replacing I thought I'd go ahead and get a cold air intake.

Can anyone point me to a good intake that's not too expensive? Should I get a cold air with the filter below the engine compartment or would a short ram be better?

Here are a few I've looked at
92 93 94 95 96 Honda Prelude 2.2/2.3 Cold Air Intake + Blue Filter CHD12B - Amazon.com
21-405C - AEM , AEM Cold Air Intake System
short ram: 22-405B - AEM , AEM Short Ram Intake System

Thanks for your help!

Re: Cold air intake

I'll let you in on a secret: your 4th gen's stock intake is already a cold air intake. It's drawing air from the right-hand wheel well. Were I looking to improve the stock intake, I'd simply get rid of the stock airbox (which is mostly for intake noise reduction) splice in a duct to connect it from the wheel well to the rest of the intake, and insulate the whole thing to keep heat from soaking through the duct.

Re: Cold air intake

Short rams rob performance. Go true cold air or better yet, drop a K/N filter into your existing intake box. The stock intake is an excellent design!
