h23a1 ----> b16 swap help

Hey all, i was wondering if anyone could give advice on what parts i would need to swap a b16 engine into my 1992 Prelude SI (4ws)
I.E motor mounts, harness, etc.
Sure it may be a lengthy explanation but im willing to listen if you have time thank you!

You could rebuild that h23 20 times before you will have a b16 in your prelude in terms of both time and money. If you plan on building your h23, find a running h23 for cheap and install it until you get yours finished.

Re: h23a1 ----> b16 swap help

If you were closer to Ohio, I have a rebuilt H23 stock that I wanted to let go of since I bought a new lude.

Re: h23a1 ----> b16 swap help

a used h23..h22...f22...f20b..f23...h23a...etc would still be easier, cheaper, smarter etc.. than swapping in a b-anything.. esp if its only temporary

Buy a sh1++y civic 4 door for like $750.
Daily driver while you rebuild..

Re: h23a1 ----> b16 swap help

Yea, I would either buy an h22 and rebuild the h23 then rebuild the h22 and sell the low mileage h23

Or like bykfixer said buy a beater for the downtime of the lude......

Your gonna waste money throwing a b16 in

Re: h23a1 ----> b16 swap help

I've never heard of it being done. The only non "H" or "F" motor I've ever seen in a prelude is a K series.

Re: h23a1 ----> b16 swap help

*Troll senses tingling*

You can buy an beat cb7 accord for 750. And build your prelude right.

Even if you get a b16 for free or a trade, you get a crx shell and there is your DD.
