Driver side rear speaker wiring fryed?

There is not sound coming from the back driver side speaker, I then changed my HU and checked the wiring to make sure it was a good connection to the stock harness but I still have no sound from the speaker .

And the speaker is not blown I switched it to opposite side to make sure.

Is there a way I can tap into the wiring for passenger side speaker to run it safely?

You can run new wires from HU to speaker.

Don't do this, as the impedance of the pair of speakers will be either half or double that of one alone, depending on if you wire them in parallel or series. Not sure what too much impedance will do, other than not be very loud, but too little can blow your amplifier.

Re: Driver side rear speaker wiring fryed?

If you run a new wire, don't forget to install a disconnection point near the door. If you ever have to take the door off and unplug the giant connector, you don't want a pair of 18 gauge wires to hold up the door removal.
