high idle on h22a swap

Hey guys,
I just did a swap on my 92 prelude from h23a to jdm h22a. Got everything wired and fired it up and it idles high. It idles around 2000 rpm. Is there anything that stands out that I might have missed. I'm using a p13 ecu with my original h23 wiring harness. Could I be missing something in the distributor that would advance a tad. I jumpered the yellow/yellow-black wire together from the old plug on the coil. I'm stumped. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Re: high idle on h22a swap

If you're using a USDM p13 ECU programmed to control a US motor with 10:1 compression on a JDM H22a with 10.6:1 compression, I imagine that may have something to do with it.

I read it wrong, I should ask- is your ECU JDM or USDM?

Re: high idle on h22a swap

Thanks for the response. It is a usdm p13. But I believe I found the problem in the FITV vavle. The previous owner did a homemade block plate which appeared to be leaking which appeared to get the high idle. Thanks again..
