fun stuff

Itell you what, it seems more fun learning about japanese cars, im doing a lot of research on things I didnt know existed. But let me tell you what I found and have done to my 92:

Replaced, cam cap, dizzy o ring, vtec solenoid gasket, valve cover gasket yesterday. Took me about an hour and a half, kept having to strech my bwck from leaning over.

Things that I found along the way:
there is a wire coming from the dizzy going to im assuming a coil, well for some strange reason that coild is just laying ontop of the trwnsmission, the connector to the coil seems to be too short which may be why the PO put it there.

Vtec engages but doesnt stay engaged

Just learned about the secondary butterfly valves, idk if they work, I see no black box or sensors for it. How to bypass and make operable without black box? (Maybe also why vtec does work?

Whomever put this swap in... im trying not to get mad but, when I was taking out the distributor, one of the bolts was missing, the bolt on the bottom was hanging on by 2
threads, who the fck does that?

And lastly...the IAT...is ziptied to the strut tower brace, but theres a sensor in where its supposed to be, but not connected at all....wtf lol

Other than that soo, far, I like this car.

Ideas, suggestions are welcome.
