Red "H" bumper emblem

My front bumper is missing the emblem and I'm wanting to cover up the holes with another emblem. I've seen a few pics with a red H emblem. Any idea what they are for or a part number?

If I can get it out of my old bumper without breaking it, you can have mine. It's a normal one though, not ballin' red.

Thanks, but I need to know which car the red H goes to. Some of the ones I've seen are way to big. and some look just right. I'm not wanting to order the wrong one because these arent cheap!

Re: Red "H" bumper emblem

Pick a flat one with a sticky back. Only Type R come in red H. The knockoffs that fit 4th gen preludes fit well too. If you choose the sticker, heat up the bumper a little with a heat gun or blow dryer, then apply, then allow to cool/cure for an hour.

Re: Red "H" bumper emblem

I understand where to get them. I'm asking for an application or part # for reference because they do come in different sizes.

This one for example is almost 5" wide
Genuine 08 12 Honda Accord UC5 Front JDM Red H Badge Emblem Japan | eBay

and this one is 2.8" wide
Honda JDM Red Emblem 2 8"X2 4" 79 4mmx65mm Universal Size | eBay

How wide are the ones that go on a 4th gen Prelude?

Re: Red "H" bumper emblem

... why dont you just enter your car info into ebay motors....

they sell sets for front and rear, the ones that measure different are probably on backwards.... front and rear, understand?

i fell in love with that red carbon fiber emblem... wish they had the set.

Re: Red "H" bumper emblem

It is that easy cause I've done it a bunch of times before...

And just so you know. The reason why that one is 5" wide is because it's for an 08-12 accord... Don't know if you've noticed, but honda has made the emblems a lot larger nowadays, guess people are getting blind or something

The oem on the front is 2-1/4 tall and 2-1/2 wide. Same as the 3rd gen.

I checked again and am comming up with nothing found for a 1993 Prelude with a red JDM bumper emblem. Are you sure they came with them?

I did notice.... this is why I asked the original question in this thread.

Thank you bykfixer, that is a big help. I have found that the JDM S2000's are very close to those measurements so far.... might try that application.

Re: Red "H" bumper emblem

I posted those two links so you can see all the possibilites, which include relocating the emblem to the hood, like how 3rd gens are.

And you right, honda went all Playschool with the logos. I mean next thing you know the "H" will be Volkswagen "W" size

A lot of Hondas use the same emblem size as preludes do. I think the 4th gen has the same emblem size as the 5th gen also. Email the ebay seller or the company and ask.

They have to do the giant emblem thing so you can tell them apart from all the other brands these days. At 100 yards they all look the same excluding the Ford E vans and Hummers.

It's not the jdm emblem.... It's the type r emblem....
But there are no type r H emblems for the prelude...
Just search up honda prelude emblems in motors, sift through the results till you find them, there's gonna be tons of results
