95 prelude si/jdm h22 swap issue

Ok everyone I swapped out my old blown H23 5 speed motor for the less mileage jdmH22 with more power. I was away over the holiday weekend and my buddy swapped the 95 si prelude harness to the new motor. Hes the catch there's a few connectors after the distributor that arent going to anything. All open plus seem to be plugged in the right spots .
If I try n start the car you gotta keep your foot down on the gas to keep it running and it sounds alil off . The plu wires are in the right spot along with the timing.
I just dumped a bunch of money into this thing and I really am getting sick of trying to figure out . Might just sell it with everything. Anyway if anyone knows about this stuff please let me know

Re: 95 prelude si/jdm h22 swap issue

For ease of use and to eliminate any wiring harness hacking, just install the dizzy setup from the h23 on your h22. Plug and play for obd1. This is how my swap is setup.

Also, the only time ive had to hold the accelerator to keep an engine running is when the cam timing was a tooth or 2 off. So id suggest rechecking your cam timing is spot on.
