New to Hondata tuning. What can I expect?

So, today I ordered a S300 (used, never used tho.. :b) from a guy here
in Norway. I bought alot of other stuff from him, so he threw that in
just to get rid of it since this was a "garage-sale" where he needed to
get rid of alot of things.

Anyways!

I have a stock H22 Prelude (2.2VTEC 4WS) which has no mods to it.
Plain stock. So what can this S300 do for me? I've Googled and watched
a couple of videos, and I've seen what it's good for. I can literally tune
every inch of levels. Fuel, air, RPM, VTEC aaaand so on.

But can I actually gain some HP by adding new maps for my FI with this
little sweetheart? On a stock machine..?

I'm only asking because I'm unsure :b (d'uh..!)
But all I've seen is from ludes with either headers/manifolds, Skunk2 cams,
turbo and what-so-ever. So I'm just asking to know if it'll do anything on
a stock machine if I tune it right? :)

Kind regards for any answers! (:

Maybe wait till you do mods to get the most out of it/them unless someone knows if it'll do anything to a stock motor.

Even on a stock engine, you should be able to get more out of it with a good tune. You could aim for more power or better gas mileage, depending on the tune. You probably wont see very significant changes though, until you get some goodies for the motor. Tuning is fairly expensive around where I am, so I personally wouldn't get mine done until I had at least some bolt on stuff.

Shop around for some tuners, and if you can get it done cheap, go for it! I'm sure we would all like to see what kind of differences you can make on a stock engine. :]

+1 for you sir
you can squeeze out better mpg or hp (even if you are stock) yes you would see higher numbers on both ends if you had basic bolt-ons but it's always nice to see where youre startting from
