Im rebuilding my h23a1 engine

Hey guys I have a quick question which I couldn't find an answer to... Im rebuilding my h23a1 non vtec. While the machine shop was going to start building the block they noticed it had holes in the bottom of the block.... I figured out that they were for oil squirters but mine isn't v tec... So I just have to plug the holes or leave them alone .
