Re: I DESPERATELY NEED HELP!

Make absolutely sure that your timing is correct. It is also very easy to damage the knock sensor when removing the head so that is a possibility as well. Might as well make sure the knock sensor is plugged in before anything else, you never know.

Re: I DESPERATELY NEED HELP!

it has no bottom end like if it's pulling something.. and it'll have sudden surges of power. Could the knock sensor make if behave so erratically?

Re: I DESPERATELY NEED HELP!

Take out the sensor and check the seated pins in the connector. All it takes is one to not make contact to give a world of problems. If the wire looks stretched or damaged, replace it. You also said you did the head gasket. Did you make sure the cams were Top Dead Center before removing them?

Re: I DESPERATELY NEED HELP!

If it was the timing his problems would not happen AFTER the car warms up, it would be instant! To the OP read over this thread, it should help you with the code 23 a bit. b16 cel 23 (knock sensor) - Honda-Tech
