H22 seems to have stopped burning oil?

I've been checking every day for the last couple weeks and haven't had to top up. Rewind to last year, I was consuming about 1L (or 1.05qt) a month. And this is with at least 10 vtec pulls per tank of gas.

Is my dip stick/tube malfunctioning or something? lol I think the dip stick is slightly bent but not length wise, it's got a slight twist is all.

Or if it wasn't burning oil, maybe it was leaking enough to be noticeable.

Things I've changed before this that are relevant:

-PCV valve/grommet
-Valve cover, all VC gaskets, oil filler cap & gasket
-BLOX intake cam seal in place of bad stock one
-Coolant
-Using S2K filter & Mobil1 synthetic blend "High Mileage" 10w30 oil

Also, what is it supposed to read on the temp gauge? At OP temps mine is always right at half. Hard to tell with that digital gauge.

I find it hard to believe I'm not burning any oil. Only at 136k miles and have another 136k to go easy, but still. Makes me happy.

It was probably a seal that either you replaced, or you got lucky and it got clogged. I'd just keep an eye on it. I changed my oil cooler o ring when it failed, and what I thought was oil burning was actually from that. My car with 168k miles maybe burns a half quart every 1000 miles
