Need help!!!!

so about a month go when the weather would sometimes get over 80 i would get out of school and my car wouldnt start because the fuel pump wouldnt prime, but i would just put my hand underneath the dash and grab the main relay and turn the key and it would start (i thought the main relay was going out) but after i would get it running after school it would start up easy throughout the day with no problem. about a week ago the temperature been above 80 everyday, after school i went inside the car and grabbed the main relay and turn the key but it wouldnt start, after about 10-15min of trying i finally got it started and went home. i decided to leave my house to the gym but it wouldnt start no more and it still wont. i dont know what it could be. i tested the fuel pump and it works good. i cleaned the plugs and also looked at the main relay and resoldered some suspicious solders and put it back in the car and it still wont turn on. the engine turns over but the fuel pump wont prime.

Re: Need help!!!!

Try and find a known good main relay and try using it. Sometimes resoldering doesnt save them.

Yea I actually thought about that and decided to go out and jumped the fuel pump to the 12v wire and turned the key and the fuel pump came on, so the main relay must be messed up inside, I just ordered one from oreilly. Thanks though
