Inverter box for your gauges.

Sometimes its the box that goes bad, sometimes its the gauges themselves.

well i thought it was my gauge is broken I then decide to borrowed my friends inverter box my gauge works fine. It lights up no flickering needle etc but if i put mine i turn the key on the speedometer needle jumps to 20miles then goes down to 5miles its really weird because sometimes its normal.
o well time for wrecking yard hunt for that part.

BTW i emailed a guy on craigslist hes crazy he wants to sell me the inverter box for 100 bucks lol. i told him ill buy it for $30 he said im a low baller then i told him at a local yard thats $20 then never replied back at me lol.

I hope its only the inverter box that's bad in mine. My rpms jump all over the place, and I thought it was the cluster itself. I had just done the el swap on my 92 and it really posses me off that this started happening.

ok this morning went to wrecking yard could not find any inverter box so i decided to solder the ground connectors. as shown on my attached picture.
took me about 20mins to prep and solder then assembled it installed it guess what it works i guess the ground connectors arent doing the job anymore thats why its buzzing or humming. Hope this help you you can try it if it doesnt work well try another one like i did lol.

I'll have to try that out, that almost seems like what it is. Something not making good contact because when I hammer down the throttle is when stuff gets weird on me. And grounds can do funny things lol. I probably won't attempt it til I have another in my hands though, going to the junkyard tommorrow haha:)
