spark plug wires

Hey, i have lude 92 2.3i and it eats a looot of gasoline, around 4galons/60miles.
i have changed lot of parts, and one night i dont know why, but wanted to check spark plug wires, and they were broken, at least 2 out of 4. 2 of them was like christmas tree ;D. Sooo, i bought new ones, made in taiwan, they called nipparts, i put them into my car, and for 2 days it was amazaing, it ate about 2galons/60miles, but after few days, everything went very bad, same 4galons/60miles. So now i am looking forward to buy goood spark plug wires, i know, that NGK good ones, maybe another brands anyone knows, that would bee god, and wouldn't brake down after few days?

NGK are fine if you don't mind blue cables.

Re: spark plug wires

NGK is a very good brand for our cars and offer many options. NGK wires are also pretty good and is what I had on my car and am buying another set for the new motor. I'd definitley reccomend replacing both if not yet done and be sure that you are throwing no codes/mis-firing as it may be the distributor. but start off simple and replace the plugs for sure. be sure to gap them weather they say the come pre-gapped or not.

Re: spark plug wires

Although Oem is more than adequate, I like overkill.

I use Taylor Spark plug wires at every tuneup.

Taylor 97008 Taylor Full Metal Jacket 8mm Wire Sets

with a grounding kit.

Re: spark plug wires

Nice price for plug wires, did you check the ohms with a mulitmeter? Meh, for $30.00 who's gonna check?
