install a detachable steering wheel into my lude, i have no info on them but ppl keep suggesting i do it.. hate doing pointless ****

It's all up to you...I say do it. It adds a safety feature - less motivation to steal it since they can't steer it.

But if you do go that route, make sure you get a quality quick release hub from a reputable company. Some of the cheap knock offs are not Ministry of Transportation (Canadian motor vehicle governing agency, not sure what the US on is called) approved and you wont be able to safety the car with it.

As mentioned previously you will loose your airbag, but who cares. While you are at it, might as well rip out the rest of the SRS system and shed a few pounds as well.

thnx bro i seen some nrg **** that caught my eye even found a lock to put on the quick release when my wheel is off. jus want to find the best place for price dont wanna over pay when i got alot more **** to put into it

I still have my cruise control buttons and they work, but how rare is it that they actually do?
