Please help! Car wont go into gear when running

So i just put a h22a4 in my 94 si, before i pull the engine back out I was wondering if anyone may have an easier solution when my car is off i can put it in gear hold the clutch start it up in gear while holding the clutch it is fully disengaged its not trying to move i can let off on the clutch and move the car however when I pull it out of gear it will not go back into gear i can get it in 2nd but its hard and obviously useless. I have bled the system there a little bit of fluid around the master cylinder on the inside but not bad it worked fine prior to the swap the slave moves so i dont think i am leaking anywhere. I didnt do a through inspection of the clutch before i put it in to see if a spring had come loose but even if that were the case it would still try to move forward while in gear and holding the clutch because it is not able to push down on the pressure plate completely. any advice would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance

The same thing happened to me but I inspected my clutch and it looked fine but I don't know why it happened! still even though I replaced my clutch. But yea your going have to be replacing your clutch also you would want to get your flywheel resurfaced or get a lightweight flywheel if you like. My clutch got burnt up because it would be engaged while I'm holding the clutch down. So I replaced it with a stage 2 clutch and got my flywheel resurfaced, but like I said I don't know what caused that problem
