Want to head/tail light mod got any ideas?

i want to do the taillight mod and amber my headlights and turn signals and i need some opinions on how and what looks best.

for the tails i really like these two

and

i cant decide between clear or frosted and i dont know and where to get the plastic for these so any ideas would be nice, im assuming some craft store or something but im worried it wont be thick enough to line up properly

now for the head lights i was thinking of doing the corners and the outer turn signals a dark orange/red (i have orange bulbs in everything right now haha) but i cant decide one using some vinyl sheeting or getting some glass stain spray.

i have 1 peice ebay headlights btw (i know i know ebay but im happy with them they look really good and dont leak :) )
pics courtesy of ms paint btw lol

They're Ebay. Jdm ones have the horizontal lines going across the lenses.

yeah they dont have these anymore on the ebays idk why they only have ugly projector ones now. my stock ones where chrome glass and all broken and busted and leaking i had to replace them i really like how these ones look and they install wayyy easier than the oem ones you dont have to deal with that whole bucket thing.

i might try some stain glass paint for the fronts and get frosted clear for the backs, gunna make the local luders say whaaa how he get tat?

this is what happens when your me. it was just about to work but the oven warped the whole glass. that freaken glue is the hardest thing to work with. i got it out just fine but when i put it back in to melt the glue again my oven screwed me over. it took me well over an hour just to get the glass off.

if anyone is selling modded tails i would like to trade with cash on top because apparently i am mechanically declined haha it makes me soo mad because it was looking sooooooo good!

damn bro how hot did you have the oven? Put it at 250 and leave it in for maybe a min at a time, slowly prying the lens up using pennys to hold it open. That looks like it got a bit hot.

Re: Want to head/tail light mod got any ideas?

it was at 250 the whole time!!!!!! i was working to get it open and about the 3rd time in the oven part of the clear lense warped/bubbled up, but i thought it would be fine, but when i was putting it back together i couldnt get the glue soft enough to push it back on. so i was pissed and i left it in the oven for another 5-6 minutes or so thinking it would be soft enough and the whole top was warped

Re: Want to head/tail light mod got any ideas?

That sounds like some dumb luck. The only part that has ever melted on me was the back side. Maybe your oven has an element on the top that cooked the lens. If you have an extra set of tail lights I would happily mod them for you. If you end up trying it again one trick is to clean out all of the old glue crap ( yes a HUGE pain in the a$$ ) and just use silcone to re seal it.
