KYB struts & Neuspeed Lowering Springs

I did my taxes late and got my return, and along with all the other suspension work my car needs it needs struts as well. And I'd rather not have the alignement done more than once if I don't have to so trying to get all the front end stuff done at once before hand. Have done outer tie rods, sway bar end links, lower ball joints soon, steering rack & inner tie rods as well. I've located a set of Adjustable KYB struts, and 55.20.16 Neuspeed Lowering springs. Seller wants $150.00. My question is, I have a set of 17" ADR M Classics, unsure of offset. I measured at one time but forgot will have to again. I plan to get some tires for them. If I were to put that kit on (which is a 1.75" drop in the front and 1.5" drop in the rear) What size tire should I run? I want as much contact patch as possible and enough sidewall to protect from curb rash at least a little. I had a set of 215/40/18 on a different car at one point, and they had little to no protection. Anyone run a similar drop inches wise and what size tire do you run? I've looked over the recommended tire sizes and offsets but not sure when it comes to being lowered. I was thinking 215/45/17.

I was running 215/40/17, but just recently changed the rear to 45. However later in the year I'm planning on going 225/45/17 all around.

Do you think you'll have any trouble with 225/45/17 rubbing with a 1.75" F drop and 1.5" R drop? I've considered 225/40/17 as that is real close to stock diameter but I've read only Nitto 555's are available in that size basically. Right now I have 205/60/15 Nankangs on the stock rims. That's what I bought the car with. I know it's supposed to be 205/55/15. Anyone else also running this drop? Just want to have my ducks in a row before I commit to a set of tires for my rims. It would probably be helpful if I posted some offset and width measurements too, but haven't had a chance to measure them out they're not at my house. I'll get that asap.

Re: KYB struts & Neuspeed Lowering Springs

theyre almost the same

205/60/15 diameter 62.7cm
225/45/17 diameter 63.4cm

exept they would look better with 40 profile tires
