Door panel help

alright so i've looked at a couple of some peoples ludes online and i see that the lower half of their door panel doesn't have the carpet on it, it was just plastic. how did they get the carpet adhesive off of the panel? i got the panels in my garage but cant get the adhesive off.

Im pretty sure the carpetless ones arent modified, i think they are stock. Im not sure what year/trim it came on, but ive seen them being sold lookin the same too many times for it to be a DIY thing.

O ok so it seems like it only came on the S models. Damn I can't pay 50 for a door panel that I just want the bottom half lol I got these door panel halves for like 3 bucks each. I hope there's a way to take the adhesive off, or if I can't get it off I'm a just sand it down lightly and wrap it in leather. I've tried a bunch of ways to get it off and nothing works /:

Honda uses some pretty bad@$s adhesives.

Lol yea when I changed my oil pan gasket I had to use a torch to get the hondabond off and after that I used a wire wheel to get the rest off lol
