Ordering Parts for Build - Am I missing anything?

Sup guys, I am ordering parts for my project build. To set it straight, overall I am looking to just build a clean car. Maybe ill track it once or twice, but in no way is this build about absolute power. Weekend cruiser is what im going for. Engine is a JDM H22a Blacktop with LSD.

I have a list of parts ordered, AM I MISSING ANYTHING? Plese don't tell me that I shouldn't get some part. I want it for some reason or another and it's been ordered.

Here is the list so far, what's missing?:

Engine:
Bisimoto stainless header and timing belt tensioner
Golden Eagle intake manifold and thermal intake gasket
Skunk2 Tuner series stage 2 cam shafts.
Skunk2 Pro series Valve springs, Titanium retainers and spring locators.
Skunk2 Cam gears
Skunk2 70mm throttle body
Skunk2 Billet Cam seal
Mishimoto remote oil cooler kit (9 Row)
Injector Dynamics 725cc injector kit
Hondata S300 kit
P72 ECU
Walboro 255lph fuel pump
AEM Fuel rail
AEM Fuel regulator
Liquid filled Fuel pressure gauge and fittings
-6 AN Fuel line from Stock Fuel filter to fuel rail

Suspension/Ride
Tien Flex coil over suspension kit
ST front and rear sway bar kit
Energy Suspension Master Poly bushing kit
Front Ingalls Camber kits
M-Sport Zinc plated, slotted and drilled brake rotors. Front and rear
Hawk HP Street brake pads. Front and rear
Goodridge Stainless brake flex line set

Inside
NRG quick release steering wheel hub.
Sparco steering wheel
Autometer ProComp Oil Temp, Oil Press and AFR gauges
Gaugeworks 3-Gauge Pillar pod
Dark Grey JDM ITR Recaros

So what am I missing? And I have no idea about rims yet.

Thanks guys,

theres also better headers for that price... or you can get some as good as that with less money

you should look into skunk2 pro cams, theyre MUCH better than tuner serie! like pro1s are better than tuner 2s.

but see that better cams require higher compression than the stock so you dont get everything out from those better cams... theyre designed to use with higher compression

like: pro1 - 11 comp, pro 2 - 12 comp....

also notice that if youre getting pro2 cams then the power is in high rpms (around 9000+) and then everything gets more unreliable in those rpms and it may shorten the engines lifespan

overkill, you dont need that big tb for that kind of build. bigger is not better with tb's. stock one is ok for around 240hp and 66mm is ok for ~290hp

you should check this from you tuner, there is other ways to tune your engine also - programs like neptune, crome, emanager etc

check what your tuner/dyno place recommends

you dont need to upgrade stock fuel pump with this kind of build (if your stock one works still ok)

teins are overpriced and overrated IMO, you can get better setups cheaper, but if you like to get teins.... its your choice

+ remember that you have to new all the seals/gaskets etc

I would look into replacing EVERY hose, gasket, o-ring and seal you come across.

Do you already have the rest of the exhaust? And what kinda intake are you using? SRI, stock, type-s, ect..?

Great suggestion. Engine swap was done from a H22a1 to JDM H22a so most of this has been done. But great suggestion.

Exhaust will be completely custom, not sure yet on what actual muffler, but I want it to purr during normal driving, but roar like a lion during WOT and Vtec kickin in. Intake will be AEM v2 CAI.

Re: Ordering Parts for Build - Am I missing anything?

Yo, type t has a point, if your not going for a power build you should return a lot and get your money back.... And you said you don't want power, but your rebuilding you head and with stage 2 cams?? Makes no sense to me. It's your money you are messing around with so do it how you wanna do it, but if you don't do it right, you are gonna waste a ton of money and have a very unreliable engine and it won't last long....

Re: Ordering Parts for Build - Am I missing anything?

OP never said he didn't want power. He said that he isn't building it to achieve a whole bunch of extra power. Fortunately, extra power is usually a side effect of building a clean car!

And many of the parts listed may not be necessary for his current build, but at least he will have them if he chooses to go bigger in the future. Like he said, he has his own reasons for everything he has chosen. I didn't see any Ebay parts listed... so it should be an interesting build.

Cant wait to see pics of all the parts piled up!

Re: Ordering Parts for Build - Am I missing anything?

+1 on replacing all gaskets seals and grommets! also golden eagle intake manifolds really mostly benefit on turbod applications and are relatively expensive man! recently i've found the h2k conversion to be quite interesting I know stock versus skunk2 h2k manifold they saw 12 hp and some significant tq gain. h22 skunk2 im sees about half that on a good day just something different/interesting/and more gains to consider. also I havent done much research on which header performs better versus price but im sure many can enlighten you here about it.

Mounts, radiator and fans, plugs, wires? You could do a new traction bar... or a coil pack retrofit. Upper strut bars. Short shifter. Just throwing things out there lol

Re: Ordering Parts for Build - Am I missing anything?

The build you're going for is definitely clean, but just throwing out there, I like aesthetics as well as performance, but do you have anything planned regarding it?

How's the paint look? How's the interior? I see you're looking to get recaros and itr wheels, but what about head/fog lights? New cluster maybe? are u going for the kinda-stock looking exterior? Sounds like you got plans though! :)

Good luck.

PS - Is that Type T giving advice? Someone must be using his computer.

ooh wow didnt see the interior stuff I have both the dc2 recaros and dc2 wheel (i didnt see that in your build but someone above mentioned it) I can put some pics up for you to see them, if you want! and its easy to make a car clean get her rolling first man ;)

I agree about the aesthetics, but it will be the last thing I do with the car, probably in about a year when all this other stuff is in and running.

Car is the one in my album, 95 SRV. So its full leather, all even in good shape except for the left bolster on the driver seat, but they will be replaced anyway. Interior will be left mostly stock, sparco steering wheel, gauges on the A pillar, and since its a 95 it already has the EL Guages. Back seat will be left, just in case I want to punish someone.

On the outside, the paint is okay, rust in some places where it will be properly fixed with new sheet metal. And finally, wrapped in flat black vinyl, with some darkish, gunmetal grey rims and a full custom quiet exhaust to not attract attention. No crazy body kits or anything like that. Just a Spoon lip, stock SRV side skirts that are already on it, and I already got the rear skirt from an Accord. No major decals or anything. Moonroof conversion. To sum it up, Hella clean...with a little Vtec kick.

Bunch of other ideas in my head, but can't remember at the moment. Will be starting a thread soon, once the parts start coming in...
