Re: Door question
Honda Automotive Parts
This ^^ is a shematic of the assembly part by part. I'm guessing it's one of the small parts like a #37 or an 18 or something. Use of a flashlight while tugging and pulling is a must. Anything tugging back when you lift/pull handle? Is there no resistance when doing same? Door stuck locked perhaps? Good luck, check back with your findings

Re: Door question
There is absolutely no resistance, i tried to figure out whats wrong both feeling around an using a flashlight to try and see, as you can probably tell i dont have much experoence working on cars. but i do love my prelude, and plan to do alot of upgrades myself. How hard is it to remove the window? Is there a guide of any sort anyone knows about? Thank you for the help:)

Re: Door question
It's probably a Jesus clip... that's a small part that you can't see and when you do find it you say Jesus, how am I supposed ever replace that.
I'm familiar with removing a 3rd gen window only but Honda seems to carry some ideas model to model, year to year. You need to remove the glass guides. Moldings cover the screws. The guide nearest the outter handle needs to be removed. Then pull up on the glass. I've probably left out a detail or two. It's been a while. You might consider having a body shop or your favorite mechanic do the work. Money well spent. If you can make them let you watch. I bought a set of hog ring pliers at advance auto for like $10 for replacing parts inside the door. They have interchangeable heads for squezzing those little bastard parts off and onto their perpective rods.

Re: Door question
Hey guys! Thank you so much and i couldnt get it open, i took it to a mechanic to see what was wrong and it was actually the latch itself it stuck in the middle, ive tried for hours to get it open. If anyone knows where i can get a cheap drivers side door latch please let me know! Thanks again for all your help :D
